With over 40 years of experience on pitches all across Italy, Fabio “Gatto” Corti founded Gatto’s School – Italy’s number one goalkeeper academy.
Located in the province of Lecco, Gatto’s School is dedicated to goalkeepers of all ages, from young kids (6–7 years old) to adults.
Discover our personalized training programs and exclusive methods that have made Gatto’s School a true reference point for anyone dreaming of becoming a professional goalkeeper.
Gatto’s School training sessions are designed to support the technical, physical, and psychological development of young goalkeepers.
Throughout the competitive season, each goalkeeper follows a tailored training path focused on specific objectives — aiming to improve weaker areas where needed and enhance individual strengths.
At the age of 7, he was already scraping his knees on the small pitch at the parish ground in Pescarenico.
A few years later, a scout from Calcio Lecco spotted his talent and brought him into the Bluceleste youth academy.
After working his way up through the youth ranks, Fabio made his debut with the first team in Serie D at just 17 years old.
To this day, he still holds the clean sheet record in Calcio Lecco’s hundred-year history: 807 minutes without conceding a goal.
He was also one of the key players in the club’s return to professional football in 1990.
After a lifetime in Bluceleste colors, he moved on to a new club in 1991 and eventually hung up his gloves at the remarkable age of 41, ready to begin a new journey as a goalkeeping coach.
In 2003, he started coaching in Serie D and worked his way up to Serie B, where he trained the first team goalkeepers at Como.
In 2007, he returned to Lecco, helping the team win promotion to Serie C1.
Four years later, he was back on the bench in Serie D with Olginatese.
In 2014, he was promoted to head coach, managing for several seasons in Serie D, Eccellenza, and Promozione in the Lombardy region.
Today, he focuses on youth development, working with the academy teams of various clubs in the province — and of course, dedicating himself to his own goalkeeper academy: Gatto’s School.
Nicola has long been Gatto’s” trusted right-hand man and is a key figure at Gatto’s School.
A UEFA B licensed coach, he spent many years training youth goalkeepers at Olginatese, and today he coaches in the Calcio Lecco youth academy.
Always on the move, he never misses a chance to stay up to date — regularly attending specialized goalkeeper coaching courses — and is constantly “inventing” new drills and exercises to keep training fresh and engaging.
After a past as a player in the youth teams of Inter, Olginatese, Calcio Lecco, and Villa d’Almè, as well as in the first teams of Pontisola and Colicoderviese, he eventually moved to the other side of the goal — and began coaching goalkeepers.
He started with the Olginatese youth sector, then continued his coaching journey in Colico.
He is also the founder of Treelink Studio and handles all communication for Gatto’s School.
